Enjoy a Couple videos from our trips to abandoned places:
Amazing place to fly drones: Arthur Kill – an abandoned ship boneyard in Staten Island, NY. Video is shot with DJI Phantom 4, and edited in Final Cut Pro X using selective color masks.
North Brother Island, located in New York City’s East River, is an abandoned sanatorium for patients with infectious diseases, and a site of the highest casualty shipwreck in NYC’s history. This island is only accessible with boat, covered in poison ivy, and too close to LaGuardia Airport to fly drones, but nevertheless, we came back with a great adventure and a few cool cinemagraphs – photographs edited in Adobe After Effects to appear in motion by breaking them up in 3D layers and creating slight Parallax effect in the scene.
